Some human rights work and activities done by the svghra during the past ten years.

CARE FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

Persons with disabilities are not given the attention and the opportunities to be able to live a relatively independent life. Children with disabilities are shunted off to a separate school for them alone and are given no chance to be integrated into the normal school system. The adults suffer discrimination in seeking employment and proper health care.

There is an Organization for persons with Disabilities. The SVG-Human Rights Association works in collaboration with this organization in advocating the rights and needs of persons with disabilities or who are physically challenged.
